Pay rate: £28872.48 to £29418.48
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 42 hours 
Shift and schedule: Weekend availability
 
Priority Recruitment are excited to present this brand-new opportunity for a Team Leader in Preston.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a residential home for children and young people. The residents live with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and/or autism and may display some associated behaviours. 
We are searching for Team Leaders who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop our residents from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Previous experience in care is essential.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rates, from £13.22 to £13.47 per hour for 42 hours per week gives £28872.48 to £29418.48 PLUS £78 per sleep in - expect 8 sleeps per month gives additional £7488.00 per annum

Company and Role: 
  • Residential home for Children & Young People. 
  • The conditions the residents live with include a range of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism. 
  • Many of the residents are non-verbal or have limited communication and will communicate through different methods, including picture boards, Smartbox devices and Makaton. 
  • Some personal care may be involved, in addition to companionship, taking part in celebrations, events, fundraising, and other ways of interacting with the local community.

Successful Applicant:
 
  • Must be able to drive
  • Hold a Level 3 diploma in Helath & Social Care
  • Previous experience in care is essential. 
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
